About Us
Shirakawago Community is a newly established society dedicated to showcasing the village and everything it has to offer. We aim to bring more tourists to the area to help support the local community to maintain its beautiful Gassho houses and rich culture.
Our main location is in Tokyo and we work in the Tourism Office of Japan. We create brochures and other marketing. Our main focus is getting more traction to Shirakawago, advertising to tourists and putting the village on people’s radar.
